Part-turn actuators
Class A:Â OPEN-CLOSED operation. An actuator is required to actuate the reinforcement throughout its stroke from the fully open position to the fully closed position or vice versa.
Class B:Â Positioning (inching). The actuator is required to periodically bring the reinforcement into any position (fully open, intermediate position and fully closed).
Class C:Â Regulatory or modulating operation. An actuator is required to move the reinforcement frequently to any position between fully open and fully closed.
Class D:Â Continuous control. An actuator is required to continuously move the reinforcement to any position between fully open and fully closed.
